We hit the road.......again

Last weekend Papa and I jumped on the bike and headed for Cedar City. We went to see Debra at school. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Friday night we went to the St. George Temple with Deb. It was the Temple that Papa and I had been married in 32 years ago. Then on Friday we went to Cedar Breaks and found a fun little 4 mile hike to go on.

It was just a little chilly. But on a motorcycle it was down right cold. Good thing we were prepared.

The scenery was breath taking.

But the trees were just a little bit funky.

When we got to the end of the trail we couldn't believe our eyes.

Debra headed back for home but Papa and I couldn't resist taking a little ride up the road to Brian Head ski resort. It was very very cold and windy. But worth it.

The next day we took of to go back to Layton. We ran into a little ran. Then we ran out of gas. Finally we made it home safe and sound. What a life.

In June things got really interesting. Rikki drove out to Layton with the 3 boys and Dianna came home for a visit 7 month pregnant and with our 2 year old Clara. It was a wild few weeks. We went to the Zoo got really wet and enjoyed dinner at the Spaghetti Factory.

After having the kids home. Papa and I started to prepare for Trek. It was a hard few days, but I was so glad that we went.

After Trek I began to prepare for the 4Th year hike that would be up in the Uintas. What a beautiful 3 days it was. And may I add a life changing experience for me. Of course I took my camera but didn't bother to take any pictures. Sad I know.

August brought us a new grandson. Paul Charles Harmon what a sweetie. Dianna did wonderful. I am so proud of her.

Then the biggest surprise of all Sept. 1st Reagan Brielle Johnson was born 4 weeks early and such a beautiful baby. Pictures will fallow. Again I forgot the camera.

If you are wondering what my New Year resolution is it will be

#1 take the camera #2 actually take pictures

Well there you have it. My next blog will be for Oct. and guess what I took the camera and accually took pictures. Not bad.

April and May

Pretty much a blur.

January and March

Can't even remember what happened in January. I turned 51 on February or was it 52 well we will just say 51. Let's see In March is when we started to hike to get ready for our Stake trek and that's when our life started to get interesting. I remember the first time I "attempted" to hike up Adam's Canyon. Well I thought that I would die. I made it up the switch back and promptly told Papa that death was eminent but I made it to hike again and again and again. Not we just find ourselves hiking everywhere. I feel it was a gift from God.

I forgot one thing in March

Levi was blessed in March.

November, December

Well like I said not to good on the pictures (but I'm doing better). November Papa was made Bishop of the Layton 4th Ward. Very scary for both of us but we are doing well. December we both hoped on a plan and headed for North Carolina to be with the Harmon Family for Christmas. It was fun. We played with Clara and enjoyed being with family.
